- Services Transformation: Architected and led delivery of a cloud-native platform serving 1,000's farms globally using AWS ECS, EKS and Infrastructure as Code, guiding engineers through the full migration lifecycle.
- Mission Critical Operations: Engineered real-time monitoring system and APIs, meeting SLA uptime goals for time-sensitive dairy operations.
- DevSecOps Excellence: Defined and drove adoption of DevSecOps practices across the team: ELK/Prometheus/Grafana observability, GitLab CI/CD with ArgoCD and Helm, with security-gated pipeline standards.
- Edge-to-Cloud Data Sync: Designed a CDC pipeline enabling real-time bi-directional Edge-to-Cloud synchronization between IoT farm sensors and globally distributed cloud systems.
Software Engineer
- HL7 Clinical Messaging: Built the HSE PCRS HL7 v2.4 service for the Under-6s GP scheme, processing ORU^R01 observations from GP systems via Healthlink and returning HL7 ACKs (Spring Boot, JAXB, LOINC). Write-up
- Public Sector Modernisation: Migrated legacy Apache Struts/JavaEE monoliths to Spring Boot microservices and refactored PL/SQL into RESTful SOA APIs.
- Stakeholder Delivery: Translated government requirements into architecture for services used by millions of citizens, under strict data integrity and compliance requirements.
The Foundation
Deployed UTS Insearch on AWS China (CN): a separately governed partition with distinct compliance requirements. Mobile-first build for Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan via CloudFront CDN and native Chinese social integrations.
Delivered financial and insurance software for Tier-1 European institutions including AXA, BNP Paribas and Société Générale, building within compliance frameworks governed by MiFID, Basel II, Solvency II and PCI DSS standards, and early exposure to the rigour of regulated financial services delivery.

A claims clearinghouse built on HL7 FHIR R5. It scrubs hospital claims, books them in a double-entry ledger and delivers them to payers through a transactional outbox.
Agritelem
Livestock telemetry from sensor to phone. Hourly sensor data is checked against each animal's 14-day baseline to flag estrus, heat stress and bad data, with an offline-first iOS app.
Aegis CLM
KYC and AML decisioning for bank counterparties. It traces beneficial ownership through layered and circular structures, and answers "what did we know then" from a bitemporal event store.
Trust Hub Core
The heart of an eIDAS remote qualified-signature service. It verifies national eID logins and enforces SCAL2 sole control before a cloud HSM key signs anything.
